Eco Dharma Meeting with special guest Khenpo Karma Tenkyong

We invite everyone to join us for a special EcoDharma Smoke Offering and Sacred Offerings Practice with Khenpo Karma Tenkyong.

Because of the season and current fire conditions, our smoke offering will be done safely using incense sticks rather than an outdoor fire. Khenpo will begin by sharing a teaching on the meaning and purpose of smoke offerings—why we make them, what our intention should be, and how this ancient practice can deepen our connection with Mother Earth.

We will also explore the traditional Buddhist altar and offerings. Khenpo will explain how to set up an altar, what the offering bowls represent, and the meaning behind each offering, connecting these practices with the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space.

This will be an interactive gathering, with practice stations where everyone can participate firsthand—learning how to arrange the offerings, understand their symbolism, and discover how to make these practices personally…
